Why This Works

This approach works because win rates are determined long before a proposal is written.

By evaluating qualification, discovery depth, and buying dynamics before committing to a proposal, teams stop investing time in deals that were never positioned to win.

The result isn’t better proposals — it’s better decisions, more focus on high-probability opportunities, and more consistent outcomes.

About Dave

David Fionda has spent four decades mastering the art of complex, high-stakes sales. He closed the largest deal in Sage Intacct history, three of the top ten in a single year, and achieved an extraordinary 91% proposal win rate.

The 5 Proposal Mistakes That Kill Win Rates

Most deals aren’t lost because of pricing or proposal quality.

This short guide highlights the five most common pre-proposal mistakes that quietly derail otherwise strong opportunities.
